Float away your worries at the Loy Krathong, a festival in Thailand where paper lanterns, traditionally made out of the pulp of mulberry plants or rice, are released. It’s thought to bring good luck to anyone who lights a lantern – probably because all your worries are said to float away
In the tenderness of night, beside the waving river and teeming bridge, bright lanterns leave the crowds and fly up to the sky. Thousands of lanterns light up the canopy of the dark night, whose glitters can rival any bright stars.The festival includes Traditional performances
Then visit Chiang Mai, Thailand’s second city. It was once the capital of an independent kingdom—and its temples and architecture display that.
